My Story
My name is Thomas Barfield and I'm a certified dog trainer. I graduated from Animal Behavior College with a certification in Dog Obedience. I've always been an animal person and have always been drawn to dogs in particular. Back in 2012, I left the workforce to be a stay at home parent when my daughter was born. Two years later, my son was born and I've been at home with the two of them ever since. Now, both of them are in school and I'm ready to get back out in the world and help as many people as I can while pursuing my passion at the same time. I can't wait to help you and your family out with all of your furry friend's needs.

Dog Walking
In our fast paced society, we don't always have the time to give our furry friends the amount of exercise that they need. A regular walk can really make a huge difference in you and your pet's life. We have several options available to best suit you and your furry family's needs.
Home Pet Sitting
Are you going away overnight or for a few days and don't want to board your animals? Often times our fur children are more comfortable in their own homes and environment while you are gone. We would love to help make that a reality for you. Pick from number of options and visits to make your family as comfortable as possible while you are away.
Obedience Training
Does your pet know the seven basic commands that every dog should know? We can teach your fur baby everything from sit, stay, come, down, heel, off, and no along with a number of other commands. We offer potty training, impulse control, and dog walking training as well.
Drop In Pet Visits
Does your work schedule keep you away from home for an extended period of time or are you gone for long stretches during the day while your pets are at home? Let us help you take care of your animals while you are out busy in the world.
Price List
Dog Walking and Obedience Training
The first visit is always free and helps us understand what your dog's needs are. I'm always watching your dog for cues and signs to make sure we don't push your pooch too far too soon. Contact us today to schedule your free walk or training consultation.
30 Minute Visit
$20
This is a 25-28 minute walk with the additional time covering leashing and locking up.
-Additional dogs are billed at $5 each.
60 Minute Visit
$30
This is a 55-58 minute walk with the additional time covering leashing and locking up.
-Additional dogs are billed at $5 each.
Obedience Training
$40 per session
Each session of training varies depending on the dog and can last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Your dog will always let me know when they're ready to stop. 3 session packages are available for $100.
Home Pet Sitting and Drop In Visits
We have you covered from training, overnight trips, or long days away from home. Our evaluation sessions for dog training is always free so you can get to know us and we can show you how we can help your fur pup. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain! Home Pet Sitting
$35
This includes two visits to your home per day with a 20 minute walk each time. We will feed and water your fur babies and take care of little things like bringing in the mail and turning different lights on and off to make it look like someone is home. Additional services or visits are available for additional cost upon request.
-$5 per day additional per pet.
In Home Pet Visit
$10
Maybe you have time to walk your pups but just need someone to stop in real quick and let them out at some point in the day. Let us stop by and give your dog a potty break while you're at work or out for extended periods of time.

Thomas has an exceptional presence with dogs that parallels a sixth sense! One of my dog's biggest challenges was walks. She would pull in every direction, bark uncontrollably and lunge at the neighbors. But within minutes of meeting her, Thomas had her pleasantly and quietly walking beside him on the leash as if that's what she'd always done! He has a gentle way of guiding you as the dog owner to better understand your dog's behaviors and needs. It has definitely made a difference in our pooch.
